Glass Painting

I’m attracted to the massive stained glass windows in churches to simple suncatchers by windows. I’m fascinated with its history. I had been obsessing with the hobby of stained glass for a while now… Stained glass objets d’art are created by cutting colored glass which are later arranged to form patterns or images. It is quite an effort that requires both artistic and engineering skills. I can’t imagine the cleaning struggle after that. I’m going to stick to simple glass painting and reverse glass painting until I could spare more time and money… more than anything I should get over my laziness. I wanted to begin with a pattern on the Rose Window of Notre Dame. “The Annunciation” is another theme that I would like to try. I was asked to try floral or geometric patterns before venturing into highly ambitious projects...
