Jupiter – As Close As It Gets

Star of October is Jupiter… It sparkled with moon on 12-13th of October. Tonight, Jupiter is at “opposition” – Earth “passes” Jupiter. It is about 3.97 astronomical units (au) away. I was thrilled to spot a huge diamond in the east of night sky… :)
